World Vision Canada: Guide for Sponsors

Crafting a guide to promote sponsor understanding and engagement.

World Vision Canada believes the best way to impact a child’s life is by changing their community. Sponsorship with World Vision Canada supports children in need by providing essentials including clean water, nutrition, and education. These children also have direct connection with individual sponsors who communicate with them through letters and photos. With sponsorship at the core of World Vision Canada’s model, the team looked to Rmrkbl to design a guide to share with new sponsors.

 Six things new sponsors should know.

Sponsors new to World Vision Canada have a myriad of questions once onboarded, ranging from “How does the sponsorship journey work?” to “Why do I receive so much mail?” World Vision Canada surveyed new sponsors and identified the six questions they most often ask. Rmrkbl took creative lead in designing a guide to present these frequently asked questions and answers in a fun, visually succinct, and brand relevant way – all in a pocket-sized format.

 Developing a mini guidebook.

Rmrkbl’s design incorporated bold colors and fonts, playful illustrations, and infographics to help sponsors navigate the answers they’re looking for, thus making it easier for them to maintain their sponsorship commitments.

 The results.

World Vision Canada utilized the guide as an onboarding tool to enhance the sponsor experience and embody the proactive nature of the organization.
