Montclair Design Week

Celebrating the power of design.

Montclair Design Week (MDW) is the official celebration of design in Montclair, New Jersey. It’s an opportunity to connect and engage with the community in a week of thought-provoking, playful, and inclusive events that celebrate how design enriches lives in ways both large and small, visible and unseen. From panels, workshops, walks, and talks to film series, festivities, installations, and competitions, the programming is meant to ignite the designer in all of us. MDW needed to launch with an identity that would reflect the power of design, and that’s where Rmrkbl came in.

A design for a community of designers.

Rmrkbl designed the MDW identity for its third consecutive year, creating posters, collateral, and an extensive printed catalogue. Working closely with MDW founder, Petia Mozorov, Rmrkbl aimed to develop a recognizable brand that captured the dynamic and cultural force of Montclair. The signature “D” along with its striking color palette have become MDW’s most identifiable assets.

The results.

Each year, the notable identity is embedded within the theme for the week, and it flows seamlessly across print, online, and social media.
