World Vision International: Jumpstart Initiative Report
Demonstrating impact through a collection of case studies, data visualizations, and narrative.
World Vision International, a global humanitarian organization supporting children, families, and communities, developed the Jumpstart Initiative to improve maternal, newborn, and child health and nutrition (MCHN) programming with the goal of reducing the under-five child mortality rate. Due to Jumpstart, child mortality dropped from 10.2 million to 7.6 million children over the lifespan of the initiative, and World Vision wanted to share this progress in a report.
Positioning World Vision as a global innovator.
In order to document the success of the Jumpstart Initiative, World Vision asked Rmrkbl to design a report capturing the progress of the 10-year effort through case studies, data visualizations, and narrative. The report illustrated the positive results of the initiative including improved long-term child health and nutrition through international partnerships, all of which have put World Vision on the map as a serious player in global health.
Visualizing progress through design.
Rmrkbl used compositions of abstract graphics throughout the report to convey a sense of exuberance and hope. This was complemented through the use of World Vision’s brand colors and elements, as well as clear data visualizations and infographics to reinforce the narrative.
The results.
The Jumpstart Initiative report showcased World Vision as a serious player in the global health community and better positioned the organization to contribute with integrity, sparking hope for the international community.
